Hand wrapped wire tree sculpture by Linette Penney-Gainham.

    H: 19.6”/50cm W: 15.7”/40cm D: 9.8"/25cm

This piece features hand made clay Magnolia flowers and buds that have been painted and varnished. The wire leaves are also hand made, painted and varnished. The MDF cottage has been hand painted with acrylics and varnished and is adorned with soft glow micro lights.

Below the tree is a hand made wooden ladder, painted with acrylics and varnished and a grass effect, created with green glass chips, sealed with triple thick glaze.

Hanging underneath the sculpture in two leather holsters is an original story to accompany the piece, penned by Linette Penney-Gainham. The story is entitled 'Little Molly Magnolia' which is printed on vintage paper and aged at the edges.

The tree is mounted onto a piece of live edged oak, which has been planed, sanded and sealed with Danish oil. On the rear of the sculpture there is an 'LPG' seal of authenticity and unique wire stoppers leading from the front.
